Kettner Nights in San Diego

Steps away from downtown San Diego’s luxurious high-rise condominium tower Sapphire Tower is the historic neighborhood of Little Italy and art walk Kettner Nights. Venture into Little Italy for a little gallery hopping, good eating and other treasures that make life luxurious and exciting.

Five years ago a group of artists created Kettner Nights in San Diego’s Little Italy North, to highlight the developing Art and Design District there.  Kettner Nights is an art walk along the northern part of Little Italy in the trendy, art and design district between Kettner Boulevard and India Street, from Grape to Laurel Streets.  Kettner Nights is held in San Diego’s Little Italy the second Friday of every OTHER month, from 6-9pm.

Kettner Boulevard is lined with many art galleries and studios, small delicious restaurants and coffee shops, antique and reclaimed architectural treasures and much more.  It feels like the creative SoHo and Chelsea Districts in New York after which it’s modeled.  The pizzas and pasta, and tiramisu are as delectable to your palate as the unique artistic creations and innovative expressions you’ll discover in the dozens of art galleries, studios and retail shops.  Many businesses in the area are open during this event to meet patrons, give demonstrations and mingle with customers.

San Diego’s Little Italy begins just a block north of the luxury condominium homes in Sapphire Tower in downtown San Diego.  Residents are within walking distance to the many fine cuisine, cultural events and festivals in Little Italy.  Visit our website or like us on Facebook for more information and updates about living in downtown San Diego, California.
